The Nollywood scene in the ’90s was really good. And apart from the various interesting and captivating movies like ‘Things Fall Apart’, what made it quite special was the actors and actresses.

They were really good and TV back then was a great feeling as people often rushed and were glued to their TV screens.

1. Pete Edochie

Pete Edoche (born 7 March 1947)  is considered as one of Africa’s most talented actors and has won many awards.  He came into prominence in the 1980s when he played the lead role of Okonkwo in an NTA adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s all time best selling novel, Things Fall Apart.

The BBC  once flew into Nigeria to interview him for his role in Things Fall Apart for which he won an International Award. Pete  Edoche  has starred in over 100 Nollywood movies.
